IF YOU DISAGREE WITH TRUMP YOU’RE THE PROBLEM

—“…If only the U.S. President had the character, courage & grit…”—

Trump does have the character, courage and grit. He does. He’s just playing a much bigger game in which Ukraine, Russia, and Europe are only a subset of the pieces. Just as Israel Iran and the Saudis are. Just as India and Pakistan are. Just as China and her neighbors are. Just as Mexico and Canada are. Just as the rest of the world’s trade is.
While the USA created during Bretton Woods the most moral system of world order the world has ever known, it came at the expense of american workers.
The USA is no longer capable of financing the world system of finance, transport, trade, borders, and human rights. We have not been since the 90s.
The whole world has been free riding on the USA at the expense of the working and middle classes. And those clases have had enough of this external parasitism as well as enough of parasitism by politically ambitious immigration flooding.
And Trump is very quickly and dramatically doing what should have been done thirty years ago (If we hadn’t foolishly fired GHW Bush): resetting the world so that those who benefit from order pay for it instead of sacrificing Americans for it.
    That’s the truth.
If. you’re too simple to understand it, that’s a problem with you.
    Because that’s what’s going on.
And it’s pay me now this way or pay me later with world wars and reducing the USA to English levels of purchasing power (the equivalent of rural mississippi). ie: relative poverty.

Put your head back in the hole in the sand and whine some more. Because this has to happen. Or what will happen is so much worse it’s unimaginable.

I dont want to respond to the rude and ignorant but:

–“Belief in magic remains widespread across many parts of Africa, deeply intertwined with cultural, spiritual, and social practices. This persistence can be traced to a few key factors. First, traditional African worldviews often don’t draw a hard line between the natural and supernatural. Spirits, ancestors, and mystical forces are seen as active participants in daily life, influencing everything from health to harvests. This holistic perspective has been resilient, even alongside the spread of Christianity and Islam, which often adapt to or coexist with these older beliefs.
For example, in many communities, practices like divination, healing rituals, and protective charms are still common. In West Africa, Vodun (or Voodoo) thrives, not just as religion but as a cultural framework, with practitioners in Benin, Togo, and Nigeria wielding influence. In Southern Africa, sangomas—traditional healers in Zulu and other cultures—use herbs, bones, and spiritual insight to address physical and metaphysical issues. A 2021 study from the University of Cape Town noted that over 70% of urban South Africans consulted traditional healers at least once, showing how these beliefs hold firm even in modernizing areas.
Colonialism and globalization didn’t erase this. Instead, they layered new systems over the old. Missionaries might’ve called it “superstition,” but locals often blended Christian prayers with ancestral rites. Today, you see Pentecostal churches in Nigeria casting out “witches” while traditional juju priests offer parallel services. Economic and social instability also play a role—when modern systems fail, people turn to what’s familiar and trusted. During the 2014 Ebola outbreak in West Africa, some rejected medical aid in favor of spiritual cures, a choice tied to both distrust and belief.
Data’s patchy, but anecdotes and surveys suggest magic’s grip is strong. The Pew Research Center’s 2010 report on sub-Saharan Africa found that in 19 countries, a median of 41% believed in witchcraft, with figures like 93% in Tanzania. Urbanization and education tweak the expression—younger generations might lean on “spiritual entrepreneurs” online—but the core belief doesn’t fade. It’s less about “magic” as a Westerner might picture it (wands and spells) and more about a lived reality where the unseen shapes the seen.”–

2010 report titled Tolerance and Tension: Islam and Christianity in Sub-Saharan Africa. This study was conducted by the Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life, based on over 25,000 face-to-face interviews across 19 sub-Saharan African countries between December 2008 and April 2009. Specifically, the statistic about a median of 41% believing in witchcraft is drawn from Chapter 3: Traditional African Religious Beliefs and Practices. You can find the full report on the Pew Research Center’s website at: https://t.co/ZfVcK8M7gx under the section for religious studies, published April 15, 2010.

The fact that this is common anthropological knowledge… and you dont know it. Well that says enough.

    RESPONDING TO THE LOST BOYS
@clarkmedia1609  No need to socially medicate your inferiority insecurity and failure in life with criticisms of those more stable, secure, able and accomplished than you.
The fact that my peers would ignore the generational condition of you and those like you, yet I work for your benefit despite your undeserving nature, does not mean at all that I consider you and those like you peers or even worthy of opinion.
I do so because I was raised, educated, and trained with noblesse oblige – the duty of those able to work for the improvement of the lot of those who are not able, willing, or even temperamentally capable.
As such your attempt to use the feminine means of shaming as a pretense you are more meritorious than what I’ve described carries no weight with me, nor with anyone who is above your ability and station.
You’re just another child tilting at windmills of your own failures: one of “the lost boys”. The truth is you cannot comprehend what I write or say. And if you could your infantilism would merely rail against the responsibility that it demanded of you.

RE: (Any Criticism of Peter Zeihan)
Nonsense. Peter Zeihan overemphasises economics, limit based reasoning, the historical record, and he discounts political will in an era where information is so readily available, and consensus more easily formed, that political adaptation occurs more quickly and less deterministically, and as such political will is more easily expressed beyond historical margins. He has not himself adapted to this difference – one I myself only understood by (as usual) seeking to understand his errors.

This is why I study falsehood, ignorance, error, biase, deceit, sedition, and treason. There is more to be learned from failure than from successes.

  • The (Stupid, Politically Correct) Reason that Psychologists no longer recognize

The (Stupid, Politically Correct) Reason that Psychologists no longer recognize Aspergers
(yet we aspies use it all the time).

Asperger’s syndrome was a distinct diagnosis which described a person of average or higher-than-average intelligence and age-appropriate language skills who also had social and communication challenges – such neurological compartmentalization and systematizing that empathizing and neurological integration was underdeveloped or stressed. Though most learn how to mask and ‘fit in’. (In my view, we aspies get along fine. And are far less burdened than neurotypicals other than in our interactions with neurotypicals. 😉 Who are the source of anxiety. 😉 )

So in my view, and the view of most of us – is that we have a superpower. Especially in the scientific and technological age.

So Why Conflate Aspergers with Autism?

“Hans Asperger, the man who claimed he discovered autism and who created the Asperger’s syndrome label, had his research funded by the Nazi regime and specifically protected autistic children he labelled as having Asperger’s and therefore being intelligent, while allowing other autistic children to perish under euthanasia.

This historical context is a big reason that the Asperger’s label is no longer in use by medical professionals and is no longer welcomed by the autistic community.”

In Other Words – Its nonsense, and the correct categorization of the cognitively masculine, systematizing end of the spectrum as Aspergers is to the benefit of those of us who are born with it, master it, and effectively weaponize it for our own betterment and that of mankind.

Because, do you have any idea what percentage of innovations in western civilization are from the minds of aspies? Most.

Recapture the term Aspergers as a superpower you’re proud of – despite the social costs it’s worth it. 😉

    Hugs all,

    (Doolittle on AI)
    RE: Deepseek Nonsense
Ok, been through the code that’s available. It’s not only obvious that the training code isn’t shared, but from what I’ve gathered, they are afraid or ashamed to share it for good reason.

    1) There are three innovations in the code that Deepseek used to save compute:
    i) A mixture of experts divides the problem vertically into silos.
ii) Limiting the network hierarchy that’s updated (reinforced) divides the problem scope horizontally.
iii) Predicting phrases instead of tokens reduces the network numerically ( and I suspect produces more semantic value per byte so to speak)

    2) They used existing code from Meta’s Open Source LLM, and slightly modified it.

    3) I am not positive, but given the code thinks it’s OpenAi, the absence of the training code, and the similarity of the results, it appears that they either got a copy of the OpenAI weights, OR they traversed the OpenAI graph using multiple accounts instead of ‘training’ Deepseek from source data.

    3) In other words, yes there are innovations but they are micro innovations on existing work and another example of intellectual property theft.

Ergo: DeepSeek is little more than a raid on OpenAI’s intellectual property under the pretense of replication of the work effort, which does in the end result in the conversion of OpenAI’s private intellectual property to an Open Source that can be used by others IF we can recreate the training code so that we can tweak the model and add new verticals (Experts) to it.

I don’t have time for this kind of skullduggery but our company’s future depends upon access to an AI we can train by adding an expert to it, a chain of thought for that expert and an API consisting of a set of prompts to feed that chain of thought.

MICHAEL LEVIN TRANSFORMING INTO RUPERT SHELDRAKE
Sorry to express my frustration again, but Prof Michael Levin appears to be on a mad dash to surpass Rupert Sheldrake for the most absurd public intellectual. Anthropomorphism is just … ridiculous.

It’s the origin of middle eastern mythicism, and it’s a multi-millennial war against european realism, naturalism, and operationalism.

He could, instead of engaging in pseudoscience and sophistry, just refer to the spectrum of paradigms of expression from embodiment, to anthropomorphism, mythicism, to theology, to philosophy, to natural philosophy, to empiricism, to science, to operationalism.

And that each of these paradigms, from the most anthropocentric, subjective, and experiential to cosmocentric, abstract, and objective serves the purpose of reaching individuals in their intellectual development from child to sage.

We have the science of representation. It’s called N-Dimensional Neural Networks. An n-dimensional geometry. All we are doing is determining with each paradigm and grammar (rules of continuous recursive disambiguation between the permissible dimensions) the weight between the subjective and objective – the simple and broadly auto-associative and the complex and necessarily associative.

Philosophy is dead for a reason. So is theology. Because they need to be. They manifest in the ignorant as pseudoscience.
