  • If You Want a Head Priest Get a King or A Pope

    Oct 8, 2019, 3:54 PM People want a president to serve as a head-priest precisely because they have none. But rule is a purely empirical, purely via-negativa, discipline – suppressing parasitism in all its forms. Governors provide commons we can afford. Priests provide leadership within those limits. If this division of labor between rule (negative), government (positive), and leadership (counsel) is crossed, then it’s time to pull out the guillotines for those who both demand and supply the imbalance. It’s equal Treason to demand or supply it regardless of one’s class.

    Math was made mysterious so that the people could treat it like a mystery cult, when it’s just another language. It’s just the simplest least ambiguous (most disambiguous) language that is possible that we know of. This lack of ambiguity decreases opportunity for free association. This is why it is costly for the brain.

  • Feeling Good Isn’t a Test of Anything

    Oct 16, 2019, 7:38 PM Meth, Heroin, Cocaine all feel good. Sugar feels good. Wheat feels good. Pornography feels good. The fake affections of prostitutes feel good. Comforting lies feel good. Hyperconsumption feels good. Virtue signaling feels good. Feeling good isn’t a test of anything other than the sensations we evolved as hunter gatherers. We have developed many means under agrarianism, pastoralism, civilization, industrialism, and the sciences, by which to achieve sensations that we could not obtain from the natural world except as subtle cues to scarcity. That something feels good (or bad) in the moment tells us very little about whether it is cumulatively good for us, for those around us, for our people, civilizations, and man. The opiates of the masses indeed do feel good. They are however extremely BAD for us. In fact, they are genocidal. ~Curt Doolittle
