    The steppe is a great forge for warriors. It is not a great forge for much else. the great civilizations are around its periphery.

    I think if we wish to make a revision in our thoughts of human evolution – it might be that one.

    That the small version in east africa formed the first crucible of evolutoin, and the step then evolved into the second crucible of evolution.

    And the periphery benefitted from the exit of the steppe by more advanced humans. but those more advanced humans needed distance from the steppe’s hostility to form european, persian-middle-eastern, indian-hindu, and sinic civilizations.

    I am pretty sure this is the correct model of the history of evolution.

    Everyone wants to talk about cities that were produced.

    But no one about the steppe that produced the men that produced the cities.

    We argue and we write because we must, in order to rightly argue and write.

    Ultimately the LEFT seeks power. And so increasing conflict and decreasing trust produces demand for the state and discretionary legislation, which they are more than happy to supply. The RIGHT on the other hand seeks to deny power, increase trust, and eliminate the demand for authority and discretionary legislation. The reason is fairly obvious: left dysgenic-anti-meritocratic, and right-eugenic-meritocratic. The feminine vs the masculine reproductive strategy made possible by the conversion of democracy from one family with property demonstrating their merit, and therefore one vote, to anyone regardless of merit may employ one vote. And by this very simple act of folly handed 3500 years of aristocratic paternalism and the incremental domestication and evolution of man, to the hordes of domesticated and undomesticated animals who have always bred in dysgenic numbers – numbers that without the suppression of which, a civilization cannot on its own evolve out of ignorance, mysticism, and poverty.

    Men use violence to create sovereignty in fact. Other men buy liberty from them as permission to put it to good use in the organization of the markets. Others yet obtain freedom from them by their actions in war, policing, and production within markets. Thankfully for all of us who aspire to advance our familial interests, there is no limit to the demand for sovereign men. Only a limit to the men capable of sovereignty. Because there are so few men capable of agency.
