I would have to see what context he’s using. The scientific community has rebelled against (criticized) the r/k concept because it’s too easily misapplied or misunderstood.

2. While a falsificationary logic from the subatomic to the evolutionary is possible, we can only test the testifiability of claims. That science doesn’t require this is the reason (other than malincentives you’ve discussed) is the most significant reason for the crisis.

It’s been constant for over twenty years. We have had a few extraordinary insights over that past twenty that increased the precision of our understanding. But at least functionally, the brain is simple, there is just a lot of it.
