An emerging property of our work is vaguely heading toward a natural religion – where we mean religion in the broadest sense – which might be quite different from common perception. But religions solve a meaningful problem of training the intuition of children, the less able, a near majority of women, and a lesser portion of men.
I resisted this because I felt it’s too easy to taint our work without treating that emergent religious direction with discipline – we too easily fall victim to the familiar intuitions.
But I thin the work is far enough along now that it is gating the possible future directions of that religion to that which is ‘true’ so to speak.
