Again, the Middle East is not like the west. They were a tribal familial primitive people. So Judaism tries to create a tribe, Christianity, tries to unify the underclass into a tribe, and Islam seeks to replace the hierarchy.

It is very easy not to lie. Don’t claim magic is true. Claim you have faith in the teachings of Jesus, regardless of how that faith is taught even if only by parable. If you lack the courage of that conviction then you by definition do not have the faith or devotion you claim.
