I can’t say that. I can only list and weight a field of opportunities. IMO he can’t survive this. Don’t know anyone who thinks so. But yes, his ‘retirement’ won’t be rapid, conspiratorial and dramatic. The hierarchy is too fragile and there is no political foundation for change.

PETER: Painful truth: At least among the young, it’s easy to tell the difference between state and intel people. Was at a ‘party’ in Kiev in 2013 put on by a lesser oligarch and it felt like a jobs fair – except resumes were written in body language and chit chat topics.

I work from first principles. That first principle of politics is self determination. There is little chance the UA people, having their own language, and their own state, having survived attempted conquest and destruction will give up that self determination or sovereignty.

(interesting) Dunno if you’ve seen the most recent videos (apparently of Azov) but they have the most modern firearms available on the AK platform, and they’re equipped with suppressors. That’s different from when I met the guys buying their own equipment.
