They are looking for a philosophy of convincing under majoritarian democracy. But criminals never give up their crimes unless threatened with punishment and prosecution. So there is no means but threat to bring the suppression of criminality about.

PAUL – Isn’t the problem the training it takes to deploy these systems? NATO uses the opposite strategy of Soviets/RU. We use high tech and training, they use low tech to avoid training. (I’m asking, not telling. This is my understanding from dod/intel.)

So the waiting game is ‘interesting’. Neither side of RU/NATO can afford to trigger the other. But RU bets on General Winter vs europe, and attacks against civilians vs UA – while US/DOD/NATO bets exausting RU supplies, elites, population, economy.
All three seeking opportunity.
