The “state within a state” complaint is substantive and well understood. It isn’t clear that ANY form of government has or can exist without the internal formation of some form of the spectrum of capital from physical to genetic to familial to conspiratorial, to financial to informational.
Elites always form. The only means of prohibiting elite formation and the rents they extract is the production of a market for the prosecution of rents and deceits. And oddly a constitutional monarchy with the right to exceed the law in the restoration of the law is the optimum form of government – and has been throughout history.
The fact that we don’t do that is a near univeral vulnerability in all world law. For this reason, we see huge reforms that redistribute assets throughout history, or we see coups or revolutions. There is no substitute for a universal armed militia, a constitution that guarantees arms, the prohibition on falsehood and rent-seeking of all kinds, a court system for the prosecution of everyone of any standing for such crimes, and the militia to ‘correct’ matters if those court systems fail.
This has not been done before for the simple reason that before my work it wasn’t put into the law in such a form that it was inescapable. But in the end, there is no guarantee of the formation of states within states other than the willingness to use force.
in the USA the financial sector, the academy, and the media have formed a state within a state to capture the government, destroy our institutions both formal and informal, and our culture and genetics too.
