Um.. I’m part of the ruling class…. I regard y’all as peasants. The difference is that I work to help the peasants instead of extract from them like the enemy does. 😉

It turns out that we should be singing god save the king. Sorry but it just turns out.

The difference is the USA is not only a reluctant superpower, but a reluctant policeman, and a reluctant globalist – Americans are largely isolationist and always have been. It’s the postwar attempt to prevent another world war (ending the age of empires and birthing the age of nation states).

The french want to lead (aggress, dominate) the americans want to defend. There’s a very big difference.

That said I preferred living in Ukraine to the states. I hated living in Canada. I love the UK people but it’s government makes business impossible, and the folks are lazy as heck. I love germany but they have no sense of humor and I find it depressing. I’d live in moscow if it would go back to the openness of 2010. I’m trying to decide where to live in the states, but portland and seattle were the only cities not ruined by the Democratic (socalist) ‘slaughter of the cities’ but even those two places have been destroyed by the left ad immigration.
So there is nothing left except the South, NH or Maine.

  • SMALLER IS BETTER MEANING LOCAL IS BETTER The Principle of Subsidiarity Subsidia

SMALLER IS BETTER MEANING LOCAL IS BETTER
    The Principle of Subsidiarity

Subsidiarity is a principle of social organization that emphasizes dealing with social and political issues at the most immediate or local level consistent with their resolution. Here are some key points about subsidiarity:

Definition: The Oxford English Dictionary defines subsidiarity as “the principle that a central authority should have a subsidiary function, performing only those tasks which cannot be performed at a more local level” 1. In other words, it suggests that decisions and actions should be handled by the smallest, most relevant unit of organization.

Application:Government: Subsidiarity applies to governance, advocating that decisions should be made at the local level whenever possible.

Business: It also extends to management and organizational structures.

Military: In military command (referred to as mission command), it emphasizes decentralized decision-making.

Origins:The concept has roots in natural law philosophy, particularly from the works of Thomas Aquinas.
Luigi Taparelli, SJ, a social scientist, further developed the idea in his treatise on the human person in society.
Calvinist law-philosopher Johannes Althaus also contributed to the concept.

Catholic Social Teaching: Subsidiarity is a fundamental principle in modern Catholic social teaching.
It promotes the idea that decisions should be made at the most local level possible, respecting individual autonomy and community participation.

European Union Law: Subsidiarity is a general principle in European Union law.
It ensures that decisions are made at the appropriate level, balancing central authority with local autonomy.

United States Constitution: The Supremacy Clause in the U.S. Constitution establishes federal law’s precedence over state laws.
The Tenth Amendment reinforces the principle of States’ Rights, allowing states to make decisions not explicitly delegated to the federal government 2.

In summary, subsidiarity encourages decentralized decision-making, empowering local communities and organizations to address issues effectively. 🌍🏛️

  • I wrote a post today on why no single system of government alone sufficed. Likew

I wrote a post today on why no single system of government alone sufficed. Likewise, no wisdom literature on its own suffices.
The reasons are simple: precision, potential, adaptability, and rate of innovation and adaptation.
So in the hierarchy of wisdom literatures, and their underlying paradigms and logics, the rate of innvation and adaptation is determined by the precision potential and adaptability of that paradigm.
    |Logical Paradigms|: Embodiment > Anthropomorphism > Mythology > Theology > Proto-philosophy > Rational Philosophy > Empiricism > Science > Operationalism. With each more precise and explanatory than the previous.
Conversely, the degree of neotenic evolution (IQ) of the population limits the precision and potential and adaptability they can tolerate and as such the paradigm and logic they can make use of.
So Africa has the lowest IQ and relies on disorganized magic. MENA has the next lowest IQ and relies on organized supernatural mythology (theology). India has the next lowest IQ and developed class based religion mirroring the distribution of duty in a military order. China and Europe broke the 100 IQ barrier. So China developed Proto-philosophy and bureaucracy but failed at science and law. Europeans developed law and government, and from there, philosophy proper, geometry, empiricism, science, calculus, operationalism and computation.
There are only three means of coercing and therefore organizing people: 1) seduction/ostracization(social, religion), 2) remuneration/boycott (trade, property law), 3) defense/force (state, military).
And all civilizations demonstrate path dependence – the first is the most influential institution, the second less so and the third either fails or has the least influence.
But of these, religion is the least adaptive, state the next least adaptive, and property law the most adaptive.
So, the combination of (a) the IQ of the population (b) the founding institution (c) and the sequence of institutions determines the destiny of the civilization.
The indo european revolution was the most important since the agrarian revolution. It ended the primitvism and stagnation of the flood river valley civilizations.
The european people were largely replaced because of the small size and population of europe. The eastern indo europeans conquered the indus and India but had to create the cast system to preserve their genetic advantage. The persians were able to create victory and repeatedly expand but the ‘old’ civilizations had ‘lesser stock’ to work with, and already had a religion and institutions so the Indian method and the European method could not work.
So no. The Indo europeans, then the europeans alone, dragged mankind out of ignorance, superstition, hard labor, poverty, starvation, disease, child mortality, early death, tyranny, and victimization by nature that tries to exterminate mankind with disturbing regularity.
And you are ungrateful for the vast gifts we have given you.
That is why we are going home.
That is why, like before we will send you home.
That is why like the Chinese we will build a wall.
    Because the Chinese are right.
You are a curse upon this earth.
    A mental disease.
The source of ignorance, superstition, deceit, decline, and dysgenia.
    If there is a devil.
His name is Allah, Jehova, God: cancer.

    Cheers.
