Yes I will agree that upstate ny is unremarkable. However, if the immigration problem hadn’t hit buffalo and the black problem hit Rochester, and our early attempts to ‘kick nyc out of the state’ had succeeded things might have been different.

    @radiofreenw:
Question: What is the difference between how the french practice national socialism and are lionized and how german national socialism is demonized? The french are the most nationalist, autarkic and self interested polity in europe and they hide behind ‘liberty fraternity’ while undermining the sovereignty of every other nation in Europe.

    I see the spectrum of:

    |Political Organization|: Distributed: American Classical Liberalism <> British Classical Liberalism <> French (national) Socialism <> German National Socialism <> Italian National Fascism <> Leninism (Russian Imperial Socialism) <> Chinese Imperial Socialism : Centralized.

…as little more than the geographic distance between the host polity and the proximity to Russia, the Middle East, and Asia.
As such, geographic distance lowers risk, and geographic proximity increases risk.
In other words, isn’t this spectrum simply a practical rational response to differences in geography and demographics and state of development?

    Cheers
    Curt.

    BRINGING PEOPLE TOGETHER TO WIN
–“Reach out to the angry. Channel their anger in positive ways – they’re seeking justice, and they want to be heroes. Men are not motivated by happiness as are women and children, as much as heroism and justice.”– @noahrevoy and @bryanbrey.

–“Ternary axis of anger: Church, Bank(economy), Military”– @bryanbrey

–“We know who your enemies are. We know hot to punish them.”–@Noahrevoy

—“There is a large market of pissed-off guys .. but they’re not organized. And not organized to an achievable goal.”–

—“We’re fantastic at bringing in high quality people. But it’s a long term goal. We’re not satisfying those with higher time preference. Maintaining a long term goal requires a great deal of maturity and expertise. We need to address and provide tools for those people with more urgent wants.”– @LukeWeinhagen

–“Directy the healthy masculine against the pathological feminine (infantilism, childishness).”– @NoahRevoy

Hard to know. Germans might tolerate it but eastern Europeans not. Especially because France and Russia share imperial ambitions and being caught between those two is no something they’ll tolerate.

–“Curt: Q: (Assertion) Those at the top of their careers cannot grasp the equilibration of western technology across the world and the restoration of the conflict of civilizations as it happens”–

I think everyone grasps it, but incentives must change before behavior changes, so the three step process is 1) change in the world 2) propagating eventually to changes in incentives 3) eventually propagating to changes in behavior 4) and generally these changes only occur with generational changes.

If you can obtain a monopoly of violence over a territory by attracting enough people to it, and to your institutions and policies then you can have your own nation state. However, nation is a genetic (ethno-linguistic) term, and it appears to take quite a few people of shared genes, language, and culture to hold a territory.
The reality being that small nation states with high average IQ’s are the optimum social, economic, and political order. The challenge being, that they must form federations in order to resist conquest.

    AMERICAN ISOLATIONISM DEFINED
In the context of American history, isolationism refers to a foreign policy that advocates the United States minimize its involvement in international affairs, particularly in terms of political and military alliances with other countries. American isolationism emphasizes the idea that the United States should focus on its own interests and avoid entanglements in foreign conflicts.

Key aspects of American isolationism include:

    1. Non-interventionism: Isolationists believe that the United States should not intervene in the internal affairs of other nations or engage in foreign wars unless there is a direct threat to American security.

    2. Economic self-sufficiency: Isolationists often support policies that prioritize domestic economic development and limit international trade, as they believe that the United States should be less dependent on foreign markets.

    3. Avoiding alliances: Isolationists are generally skeptical of forming long-term alliances with other countries, as they fear that such alliances could draw the United States into unnecessary conflicts.

    4. Focus on domestic issues: Isolationists argue that the United States should prioritize addressing domestic problems, such as economic development, social welfare, and political reforms, rather than engaging in international affairs.

American isolationism has been a recurring theme throughout U.S. history, with notable periods including the years following World War I and the lead-up to World War II.

However, the United States has also had periods of active international engagement, such as during the Cold War and in the post-9/11 era.

The debate between isolationism and internationalism continues to shape American foreign policy discussions to this day.
