USA is intentionally withdrawing from policing world transport and trade as it should have in 1992 at the end of the cold war. Americans voted out Bush Sr., the most capable international president in history who could hav reformed policy.. Clinton undermined the military. GWB overextend under the neocon presumption its possible to civilize primitives. Americans gave up on the postwar project. Obama did nothing and military decayed, accelerated it, and abandoned foreign policy altogether. It took Trump to make ending the postwar policy public and material. Biden continues it. YT POSSIBILITY OF CIVIL WAR DENIERS – EMPTY HATS
I’m having a fun time watching this cascade of CW denial YT videos coming out – none of which contain any substantive content. I mean, I’ve had the FBI in my house a number of times precisely because a civil war is possible, and they’ve asked me to be quiet so to speak. I’ve done a civil war already. And it’s trivially easy. And there are plenty of men who are more current than I am.
It’s just that these YT content producers are out of the Mil Strategy / Intel Loop. It’s humorous. And comparing The american civil war to today is, well, ridiculously out of touch.
So, instead, think of the The ISIS raid through Iraq, the Syrian Civil War. The Arab Spring. Or the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. I don’t mind it when people talk nonsense about politics or economics – but civil war isn’t something that’s unserious. Read Lind.
