Just what happened. I suspect they didn’t kill the contractor on purpose. Trump said “don’t kill any americans”. they did and he responded judiciously. They sent missiles that missed on purpose. Both polities are satisfied. I suspect that very little will go on from here.

@curtdoolittle I heard commentators saying Iranian ballistic missiles aren’t accurate enough to miss at those ranges? Doesn’t it require pretty advanced guidance systems for them to be able to deliberately miss hundreds of miles away?

Best move is to get into a fight, decimate their military, pull in israel, egypt, and saudis, (turkey?) and withdraw so no one is dependent upon us but iran is not strong enough to make power plays. This is the only way to get out of the region unless china/russia replace us.
