But (as Samuel Huntington warned) democracy cannot survive Islam. Judaism, Islam, and Christianity cost us all the great civilizations of the ancient world: North African, Egyptian, Levantine, Persian, Byzantine, Roman, Greek, The Indus region of India, And was stopped only because it consumes whatever people adopt it, and reduces them to perpetual externalization of inner conflict through blame of others, whereas every other religious system provides mindfulness within the self. Western civilization uniquely created continuous innovation and adaptation by the direction of dominance expression to the production of commons: Heroism, Excellence, Truth, Duty, Sovereignty and Reciprocity before Self all favor others (the polity) in exchange for status, and status produces mindfulness by existential, demonstrated, evidentiary, constructive means. Sovereignty requires reciprocity, reciprocity requires the natural law of tort, jury, and court of peers, and cooperation is limited to markets in every domain of life regardless of station.
