POSITIVE ETHNONATIONALISM NOT NEGATIVE RACISM

Well I wouldn’t recommend Rudyard touch this conversation or any like it. That’s not his job, and we need him to continue his good works within the limits of his job.

But that said, to address your point, instead of criticizing others, I would switch from the negativa to the positiva frame, by saying ethno-nationlism is necessary for the survival of a people who have cultural, civilizational, and geographic advantages, largely because of accumulated genetic and cultural advantages, and that we’ve ended the experiment with globalization by reversing the european construction of nationalism and federation as the solution to the end of empires.

All groups will benefit from ethnonationalism. All of them. It will take time for some peoples to evolve institutions suitable for their demographic distributions, but while we are incompatible within the same polity because of our different demands for norms and institutions, we are compatible by trade – eternally.

In other words, the optimum polities are always and everywhere, small, ethnically homogenous nation state organized into federations for defense, insurance against catastrophe, combined investment, and advantages in trade.
