Every one of the above other than Gandhi is an offensive revolutionary movement, with Gandhi useful in eliminating populist resistance.
Conversely, the union era example is a defensive resistance movement. There is no defensive strategy that will work.

@_Indirection Political window passed. Choice: Political(French) > Mixed(IRA) > Revolutionary(Mao) > Replacement(ISIS, Isam). I chose Mixed b/c strategic utility: to go either way. My use of political is to reduce resistance to a revolutionary movement. The only hole is me as frontman & Time.
