My wife ruined me. I am forever vulnerable to redheads. It’s like 80% of your neurons become either numb or directed to pursuit. It’s terrible. It’s like a disease that randomly deprives you of free will. lol

The fact than anyone even vaguely understands anything meaningful I say still amazes me.
And its only at this stage of writing volumes I fully understand the historical trap of math, physics, and even functional programming as imposing cognitive limits that resist the evolution of our thought into grammars, economics, law, and simulation (object oriented programming and bayesian marginal indifference).
I understood the semitic/feminine problem of verbalism in mathematics vs the european/masculine as measurement. I understood the problem of mathiness in both. But the barrier overemphasis and mathiness created as an inhibition on thought was far greater than I understood.

I seem to have made another minor leap in my physical, psychological and cognitive recovery. I noticed it this morning when working with Martin and Francis.
Lesson is don’t burn yourself out to the point where you’re seriously ill. Because, while I could recover in a month or three when younger, this time, amplified by long covid, it took me years to recover. If not for Dr Brad and Dr Sally I probably wouldn’t be here today (certainly wouldn’t actually).
That said I”m having a nasty allergy night. lol

Same as seeing Star Wars, Alien, Indiana Jones,and Blade Runner – even The Thing when they were first released. It was a miraculous time and we knew it.
Neuromancer at the time was … profound. What was more profound is seeing it happen. I remember the first times we were able to link Quake games from one server to the next via a ‘portal’. When Doom, Quake, and Unreal came out. It was utterly amazing. Today we take all of it for granted.
And the reality is creatives are having trouble coming up with novelties now …

Self Awareness.
I’ve just become aware that I have subconsciously ‘priced in’ (meaning, predict the environment) for the next 30 years as an extraordinary contraction that is only offset by the promise of AI and automation – without which we would … let’s say, life would not be so good.

I have a useless BA degree in art theory and history. It just happens to be the knowledge that is most important to me. It frames my every thought. The measurement of art was the first serious work of analytic philosophy I produced. Brad has said the method I used to measure art is the same method I apply to everything. Because if you can measure art you can measure anything. His observation. Probably true.
I never expected to earn money as an artist. So the degree was for my mind and soul. Best investment ever.

OMG this work is mentally exhausting.
Brad and I can work for five hours or more on historical analysis for the books. About four hours on causal analysis for the books. When it comes to the most difficult logic in the books, maybe three hours. But working on the protocols is so exhausting that at two hours we feel like begging for mercy.
My brain is scrambled eggs right now.
I don’t know how brad can maintain patience and interest. It’s crazy.
