(1969. Fishing. Off the Maine coast. Out of sight of land. Rough. Hit me fast. Out of nowhere. So sick, I eventually curled in a ball and prayed to die. Wasn’t right for two days. Grew out of it. Thankfully….. )

Yeah. I always think it’s hysterical when someone uses the aspie, spectrum, autist criticism against me. It’s like complaining that superman can fly. Aspieness (or at least those of us on the borderline) is a Superpower. It sucks when you’re young, but as you mature it’s god’s gift for information processing in a world where we are paid for information processing. (via @[100003211756374:2048:Adam J. Meek] )

But the f-king clowns were trying to sneak in beer all the time rather than just pay for draughts. Which made no sense to me. Unnecessary risk. So i’d get kicked out along with them – ’cause they’d always get caught. )

(FB 1541903262 Timestamp) A WARNING When all of us reach a stage of enlightenment we tend to feel both the epiphany and the euphoria given the seemingly limitless ease of new networks of understanding. Yet, in this we sew our own defeat – by forgetting the rigour that got us here, and in doing so, anchoring our progress until we fail.
