My housekeeper doesn’t speak any english, and absolutely considers me a madman. But that doesn’t stop me from playing with her. So, I was inspired this morning by the perfect spheres that she rolls my socks into, and places neatly in my drawer. And I promptly used her for slow pitch practice with a half dozen of them. Whereupon said staid housekeeper chased me all over the place and stuffed them down the back of my shirt. 🙂 Small joys that make life wonderful.

I am pissed about a 10k investment loss. But I am perfectly happy to have blown 5k on an absurd party.

I am much more of a free man in Ukraine and Russia than I am in America. I must deal with corruption and its economic consequences. And status is not so easily achievable by bourgeois means. But I feel far less a servant of the state than I do in the United States. Far less a servant of the credit system. Far less a servant altogether. And if I did not have to take care of family members in the states, I would just give up my citizenship. But having to take care of family, I would rather burn Washington to cinders one building at a time, one grave at a time, than surrender to the ultimate evil that has become the US of A, under socialist, progressive and neocon ideologies.

APPROACHES TO UNIVERSITY
My sister:
—“I get A’s. That’s what I do. If I don’t get an A, the professor did something wrong. Because I get A’s.”—
Hysterical. My sister is a Doolittle to her very core. lol. She gets A’s. I am very proud of her.
But she makes me laugh. She practices the opposite of my approach to university:
—“Dear professors: Your opinion matters very little to me, and your grade even less. I pay you to impart knowledge to me, not to certify that you have done so; and especially not to certify that you have imparted what you intended, rather than what I interpreted. This is because I am very suspicious of the quality of your goods and services. In many cases I am quite certain your goods and services are not only unwarrantied, but unwarrantable because they are defective. As such your approval, certification, and warranty are meaningless to me. I do not want your label on my knowledge, because it would suggest my knowledge was likewise defective”—
I told everyone at the time that I was in college that I looked at college as exchange on a good day, and rape on a bad one. I pay money for what they voluntarily impart to me, and if not voluntarily exchanged, then I take what I want wether they wish to impart it or not.
Hence why I don’t work in university.
I don’t seek approval. I seek conquest. I don’t seek to be educated, I seek to learn. I don’t seek to learn the scripture of the Cathedral, I seek to destroy it. The more dead the merrier a party we will have on their graves.
The body count is the score I seek to obtain.
Not a mere glyph of approval on paper.
Cry Havoc.
Punish the wicked.
Leave the world better for having lived in it.

ELDER, PROPHET, PHILOSOPHER: TRANSFORMATION ON THE HERO’S JOURNEY
To achieve the status of an elder, a prophet or a philosopher, one must provide others with a means of transformation in the Hero’s Journey: so that the unenlightened person that they were before, is different from the enlightened person after. So that one’s explanatory power over the universe is increased. So that what was once unseen could now be seen. So that one was unempowered, is now empowered.
In some cases we can enlighten generations – if our stories can be understood in childhood, our biographies as youth, our science in adulthood, and our wisdom and our history in late age. But we make many hero’s journeys in our lives, and we treat as elter, prophet or philosopher, those who help us in that transformational journey.
The problem is that we are ‘ready’ for our transformations at different ages, and are capable of different complexity in our understanding. As such, we need many elders prophets and philosophers.
It is only in the wisdom of late age that we see all our elders, prophets and philosophers as using whatever techniques were available to bring about in us the same transformations, using different words, and different means.
And in retrospect we see they all tell us the same things in better or worse terms, with better or worse precision, with less or more success.
The most successful has been Aristotle, for having given us the means of generating transformations that most correspond with reality, instead of those that create analogies that correspond with reality.
And these descriptions rather than analogies are what we call ‘truths’.
And truth-telling is not only the language of gods now – but the language of men because of him.
