It is so freaking good to have my brain coming back. I am pretty sure I haven’t’ had much of one since December. It’s awesome. Just still feeling weak in the core.

(Yep. Definitely back in the saddle again. Still get tired too fast. Still something ‘not right’ physically. Not sure what it is. But the brain is really getting back on track. )

Sorry but it’s true. John Kusack and Nick Cage can make a B movie script into a watchable A- movie. Meanwhile, the usual A-lister’s can’t carry a mainstream blockbuster any longer. So what does that tell you?

It says something about blockbuster scripts, and something about the relationship of A-list actors to the blockbustern narratives – they don’t got ‘it’.

Every movie today is a superhero movie.

The problem is, we don’t care about superheroes.

And we don’t care about the actors portraying them.

    Why is that?

    Internationalization of audiences. 🙂

Watching a horror movie. Walking through a house. Trying to clear it.

Sorry but IRL it’s pretty hard to feel safer than with a pair of 45’s and a wrist sling to keep it in hand.

    Why?

Don’t need full body control to fire.

Don’t need to expose yourself to fire.

    Can hug walls and fire.

    Can cover forward and backward.

Enough power to shoot thru doors and walls.

You can fire at the same rate as a machine gun.

When you’re out with one you still have the other.

One hit is all you need to take down anyone.

You can beat someone to death with it.

My choice since they came out Para Ordinance P14-45.

You can get short bayonets for 45’s now. seems a bit hollywood, and underbarrel is the wrong place for them, but for the zombie apocalypse ( the sub 80IQ invasion we’re in) it’s just too yummy to pass up.

I mean, a knife, a machete (modern cutlass), or an axe (saxon tomahawk) a pair of 45’s, and an AK, and well, i mean, you’re good to go. lol

GOOD STUFF VS NOT SO GOOD

Living here we get all the movies on torrents by the end of the first week. So even though there aren’t any English language theaters I can still get to see movies in English (at much-reduced quality sure).

Flip side is that living on the west coast means you get to see GOT on Sunday nights, and we have to wait until Monday afternoon here until they hit the torrents. And it’s brutal. I tell you. Brutal.

    lol

    One thing.

It would be nice to live in a country again where you can drink the water. It would be nice to speak unstilted English and use my full vocabulary. It would be nice to exercise the social dance and continuous gameplay of our hyper-politicized speech. And where you can get real Heinz catsup for your burgers. And where the roads don’t rattle your bones.

I daily trade those niceties for some semblance of civic culture, food largely free of preservatives, a world decorated by its most beautiful women, and the ever-present sense of family, tribe and race, free of the impulsivity and aggression that dominate the behavior of the lesser peoples. And for premium labor at drastically discounted prices.

They do not love here as we love. Their love is closer to family, safety, and duty. We seek soul mates with whom to celebrate our privileges. They still seek husbands and wives with which to secure some sort of happiness amidst scarcity.

But why do we have the choice of companionship for joy rather than sustenance and safety? And they do not? Rule of law.

They have had no militia. No responsibility for the commons. No rule of law. This is what separates what we call the Germanic and Protestant sphere from the merely Christian.

There is no source of liberty other than militia. There is no source of prosperity other than militia. Because in the militia, every man earns the franchise, in exchange for preserving sovereignty of all men.

Every man a sheriff. After that, the choice of familial civic culture (protestant) or personal hyper-consumption(jewish) is one of preference or class.

    Conservatism is an emprical order.
