I think you don’t understand the study or it’s intentions.
Fundamentally, brains operate (very) differently between the sexes – and those differences are structural and universal. This study is adding to that corpus.
For example, even the most rudimentary AI would identify just the text of your post as written by a female.
Now, I specialize (unfortunately) in these differences because I studied sex differences in lying which provide better evidence than self reported surveys of opinion or assertion.
So even at the margins, it is still possible to identify sex differences from the spoken and written word, as well as from relatively low resolution brain scans. And it is relatively simple to identify the rather substantial differences in the brains of the sexes.
Even the female tendency to attempt to minimize those differences is a well understood female cognitive bias – and the source of many of today’s social and political ills because it’s destroyed the education system at all levels.
