No evidence it isn’t. I doubt it isn’t. But as the data says, development is fragile along the entire curve. If learned it would not produce the evident structural differences in brains. It’s more likely that role is learned and later trauma causes reversion to type.

(Like ulcers, cervical cancer, and many other things we’re discovering, it is most likely either a pathogen or immuno reaction to a pathogen, and the female carrying the pathogen intergenerationally, amplifying the immuno reaction with each son.)

I’m not discounting viral/bacteriological (likely), or post partum trauma since there are points of vulnerability across the developmental spectrum. But very early fetal development appears to be the cause, and the failure to miscarry a question, despite sex diff in miscarriage.
