When you are young and dumb and have lots of energy and no money so you can’t try to solve raising children with buying them stuff instead of giving them attention. Or When you are older, settled, and have income, and discovered that there is no better return on time than family.

There are no ‘right people’ there are only human interests, and a distribution of human fitness, ability, general knowledge and specific skills. So via negativa keep out the bad people and create a market for the suppression of badness (courts) with universal standing in commons.

What you consider low level empathic and social skills is a trade-off for high level political and systemic skills. The sexual division of cognitive labor. Each of us varies in these traits, but the masculine systematizing, feminine empathizing remains. Ergo female religiosity.
