Yes. I have to do more work on this subject. But, yes, you are correct, in that it does match female behavior. In particular, the feminine cognitive bias presuming a world of “fixed pies”, and where females seek to repress rival’s reproduction – even among closest friends. ie: the notorious observation of recommending bad hairstyles (leave them behind), or the fact that the most influential motivator to bear children is friend circle reproduction (being left behind). So the economic asymmetry of the sexes in the 20s, the social media incentive to ‘selection spiral’, combined with these two factors of leaving behind and absence of fear of being left behind, are mutually contributing to the current crisis.
