Yes, again, I think that therapists should focus on the problem the customer is asking them for help with. And if one identifies a causal relation, that’s fine. Otherwise just serve the patient.

The therapists’ assumption is that whatever drives the narcotic demand is driving all other demands. They’re wrong to work bottom-up like that.
