There are at least three definitions of narcissism using a common underlying cause. The problem is, no public use of the term describes anything other than a self perceived difference in sexual and social market value – when it requires evidence of resulting harm or falsehood.

… thinking … The discipline uses empathizing vs sytematizing (perception). I could use add an emotionalizing vs reasoning dimension (expression). Impulsivity != responsibility evasion, but it’s another good idea. Same, for adding Decon v Dev – it’s a good one.

Whenever you open yourself up to public discourse you attract a certain number of dysfunctionals. some of these are failures of genetics, some of development, some of family and class, and some of them of education. IMO it’s general education that must compensate. We don’t do it.
