I can’t. They’re addicts. They are two psychological social and political catastrophes multiplying each other’s worst attributes. It’s a moral obligation of all of us to prevent them from causing harm, and to force them into therapy (or worse) otherwise. 😉

That clustering demonstrates that we are marginally indifferent enough to communicate and cooperate but our cognitive differences are caused by sex differences and sex differences represent a division of time and population from empathizing-small-now, to systematizing-big-later.

So despite all this randomness within limits, we still cluster in two sexes as the dominant difference between brains and information processing, then four personalities that roughly reflect similar tendencies, and the rest is basically quality of neural connectivity (ecosystem).

So there are no ‘exact pathways’ so to speak, there are probabilities that emerge from the organic growth of the brain as specialized cells evolve in one area, migrate to another, and seek out chemistry to connect to others. ie: patterns only, not duplications.

We aren’t sure if neurogenesis is a thing outside of the hippocampal region at least, and we seem to have difficulty replacing lost neurons. But plasticity by rediscovery and re-association compensates reasonably well over time – but never will restore what information is lost.

Your bodily homeostasis is what cause the sense of ‘you’ and it’s in the brainstem. Your personality is driven by the distribution of biochemistry, how that biochemistry ‘baits’ neural growth between regions (macro columns). etc.

So, the information is stored in associations, not places. If the network is destroyed the information is destroyed with it. disambiguation is localized by synthesis isn’t, and memories are indexed by episodes (almost exactly like 3d video games) relying on other networks.

So in that ‘market competition’ inputs from around the body compete for organization and coordination.
The only motivator is ‘acquire stuff’ (accumulate, preserve, consume). Including novelty (opportunity). It’s a pretty dumb system really. Just lots of it.

I think you think the brain is engineered by genetics, and that’s not the case. The neocortext, consisting of everything that makes ‘you’, does just one thing. And it wires everything together through market competition for attention by successful continuous prediction.
