Why do women demonstrate a cognitive bias – an insurmountable one, of empathizing over systematizing (while men, systematizing over empathizing)? Scale of population time and space. Sex differences in cognition and valuation are the origin of all human behavioral differences.

Boys on the other hand mature with the opposite effect: space, time, population, and resources in competition for status by the search for responsibility they express as dominance. Why do you suppose evolution gave us those opposing instincts: a division of time and population?

Imagine a graph w/ the x axis is time, and the y axis is population, and responsibility is the population over time you’re responsible for – in competition with your own impulses and worries. Sexual maturity in girls manifests as extension of her nervous system over offspring.

We know moral norms and values transmit intergenerationally with families and that they’re extraordinarily persistent. I’d be logical if methods of communication, persuasion, and argument did as well. But I can’t find any research on it. And I think it’d be difficult.

I just work with the data. It is what it is. The question is, what can we do help more women achieve ‘mindfulness’ – mental and emotional maturity – whether or not they have children. We know how to restore it in men, but we don’t have thousands of experience of it in women.
