AFAIK, the emerging consensus is that the reason no program of saving addicts is successful, is that it has nothing to do with the system, and everything to do with the individual’s psychology, and it’s likely biological, and likely genetic. In other words they’re ok dying. 🙁

While my work is in decidability applied to testimony and law, the research program consists largely of documenting the means by which humans lie in relation to their sex, personality, intelligence, class and culture. In other words we are identifiable by our spectrum of lies.

That the sciences deny sex, class, race differences, the magnitude of those differences, and the demand for different familial, social, economic, and political orders to satisfy the needs of those differences – largely because of neoteny, vs development rate, vs genetic load.
