Is there something to the fact that less intelligent people are more likely to consistently believe in magic (intentional causes)? That smart but ignorant people overestimate our capacity. And more intelligent people who are knowledgeable are afraid of HUBRIS?
I mean, does the ‘smart fraction’ theory simply mean that liberals are ignorant, and willfully ignorant, and libertarians are not? Or are liberals less intelligent (probably).

THE IMPACT OF WOMEN SEDUCED BY MALE SOCIALISTS
I think it would be interesting for more educated American women to do a walk through and meet the men in the high security prison system.
‘Cause you know. It’s absolutely terrifying. That is what men are capable of. A lot of us, myself included, are capable of being like that.
If you need a more gentle version, play women versus men flag football a few times. And that tells you something too. And if you don’t like that, then look at IQ score distributions at age 22 or more.
Then go out on the street where there are a bunch of white boys around and just guess what would happen if you ask them for help. or watch a few videos online that show what happens.
We live for it. Every day. It’s not even conscious. You know how men seem aware of you? You aren’t really special except as more or less fun to look at. We are aware of where every man and woman is around us at almost all times. Most of us know the threat potential of each at a glance.
If we wanted to do anything bad to women, like men in most other civilizations do on a regular basis, it isn’t like it would be terribly challenging.
Instead, you’re surrounded by guys with heroic ambitions to protect you at all times.
And most of you, at least in my generation, talk s___t about them.
And the only civilization where men are CHIVALROUS enough to treat women as relative equals, is the very civilization you seek daily to undermine.
It isn’t a competition. Its cooperation. We can take constant joy in the wonder of each other’s gender, or we can kill our civilization fighting about it.
Reducing the west to the same communalism that the rest of the world employs, isn’t going to hurt men any. I mean, we’re pretty happy with beer, meat, fire and guns.
It’s women who, if this vanity of socialistic communalism persists, will be reduced once again to second class status. Because really, it’s a much superior reproductive system, that is more sustainable, and less fragile.
And every current bit of evidence proves it.
The aristocratic west could not survive the introduction of women into the voting pool. Without the requirement for property, there is no way to contain the communal impulses of women, and their willingness to be led by men seizing every opportunity to lead them into suicide for personal gain.
Women single women in particular, have been like moths to the anti-western flame, for a century; and without them voting rapidly for leftist representatives, willingly undermining the constitution, none of the destruction of the west would have occurred. And all the distraction that political infighting has caused, the destruction of intergenerational cooperation, the destruction of the reproductive truce between the sexes we call the ‘family’, has just been a vast failure to direct investment to innovation.
Instead, we’re financing politics and 30% single motherhood living in perpetual poverty. And men are dropping out of marriage, the workforce, the voting pool, and the civil society entirely in droves.
Small things in large numbers have vast consequences.

WHAT HAPPENS WITHOUT CHIVALROUS MEN?
Women don’t seem to grasp that if you destroy all the incentives for chivalry, men will not act chivalrous. They will act like the men in the rest of the world. We do not do things because we ‘think they are right’ we do things because of incentives. Humans MUST operate by incentives. It’s impossible not to.
Japan’s current herbivorous population crash is the example of low-testosterone gene pools, Greece, eastern Europe, for medium testosterone gene pools, and Islamic and African societies for high testosterone gene pools.
Redistribution depends on men working, wanting to work, and finding virtue in work. If 30% of males drop out of the work force and 30% of women delay reproduction, then, essentially, that’s three generations till extinction.
We must cooperate between genders. We must cooperate between generations. And we must perpetuate generations.
We can’t be entirely selfish. It’s suicide.
The west could not survive, and it appears no country can survive, the entry of women into both the work force AND democratic politics.
In that sense, democracy as proposed by the enlightenment may have been on of the devil’s most recent jokes.
We thought Marxism was. And it was. But Democracy is just a slow road to communism. It’s the restoration of the female reproductive strategy. Except that all human progress started with the transfer of reproductive control back to the male, when we created private property.
Feminism is regression. The only ‘right’ we can have and yet maintain intergenerational cooperation and inter gender cooperation is property rights.
Everything else is suicide.

You pretty much cant delete your profiles from most dating sites. And despite my posts being four or five years old, I still get a few pings every day.
What I find most interesting is the ‘seasonality’ of interest. The minute the fall starts, I get quite a few (which I think is kids going back to school?). Christmas, New Years, and OMG Valentine’s day. There is also a peak in the late spring when everyone is tired of winter. I suppose I could go through my email history if it isn’t automatically deleted and do some stats on it. But it’s too obvious to bother with. In the summer, everyone is out and about and seeing opportunities whether real or not, in front of them every day.
Now, I met Amanda online. And I met my unnamed friend in NYC online, that if the world were a different place, I would probably consider the most likely soul-mate I could ever have. I met one woman I seriously regret not pursuing even though we spent a year on and off. And a number of others, both wonderful and tragic. But every other woman that I’ve had a durable relationship with I’ve met through friends, or social situations. (I met Veronika in a club. Which, at least for me happens here but never in the states. And it was in the fall: october )
Anyway, we humans are pretty interesting creatures. 🙂 Seasonality, or, the economy of relationship hunting, included. 🙂

The dopamine theory of evolution has always seemed the most plausible to me. Partly because our adaptation to Malaria seems somehow related to intelligence. Partly because the relationship between dopamine and histamine. And partly because of the relationship between allergies, depression and ARTISTIC (not autistic) behavior. And the relatively recent work that suggests that depression and schizophrenia are points on a spectrum disorder that seems to have some impact on weakening white matte, and inflammation that breaks the blood brain barrier.
There is a little part of me that thinks that the dopamine related process of adaptation was not quite as successful as other selection processes, and we’ve been asymmetrically able to repair it over time because of geography and population density.
Anyway, I’m hopeful that we will get very close to understanding just what it is that gives us this inflammation in our systems, and causes many of these autoimmune diseases that attack or as a byproduct, destroy our nervous systems.

COMMENT
Really, I have a very mild case. I have absurdly narrow focus, and an obsessive form of subconscious concentration, that I can barely control and can crush me physically and mentally if I don’t constantly keep it fed with problems to chew on. And while I can’t read subtle facial expressions it’s not that I can’t read facial expressions at all. And I can read body language exceptionally well – well enough to compensate. And I can understand any emotion that is verbally communicated to me. I just can’t physically empathize well.
A GIFT
I love other Aspies. We are AWESOME to each other, and endlessly fascinating to one another. 🙂
But more importantly, all the significant accomplishments in my life are due largely to taking a long term focus, and letting my inner aspie just act like a jackhammer on any problem I throw at it. So to me, it’s bit of genetic magic that I just worship>
My most difficult challenge was in learning how to speak to people in mutually communicative terms. It was extremely difficult.
But with extra effort on that issue, everything else was much easier than it is for neurotypicals.

Knowledge and Decisions:
The fact is, that diversity comes with high friction outside the upper quintile. All of us in the upper strata of educated people rely less on social peer groups and more on abstract knowledge and personal problem solving than the rest of society does. But the rest of society relies on habits, norms, and peers, within their race, culture, and class, for translating the ideas of the upper quintile into practical and actionable use.
Politics:
Diversity promotes political conflict. When any demographic segment reaches ten percent of the population the members tend to seek rents via political or cultural means. And any benefits that come from diversity are actually from either (a) increases in immigration that create opportunity merely by increasing density and (b) the tendency of urban and intellectual centers to concentrate high talent in small geographic areas.
Academic and State Incentives:
Academia and government have economic incentives to promote diversity. Academia because it does not measure outputs, and because academia seems to sort and filter but not teach anything of value. So the more that can be put through the system, and merely filtered – at high cost to the individual and society for skeptical results, the better for academic businesses. But moreover, the failure of academia to do more than sort, without measuring output criteria, allows the individual to blame society, or race, or some other factor, rather than his or her having invested in an education that did not in fact educated him or her. But instead, created absurd debts for him or her to pay off, so that academic institutional employees can continue to sell defective products, while blaming the failure of that product on ‘society’.
Government has the same incentives. To increase dependency upon the state so that members of the state bureaucracy can extract higher incomes from people who earn wages, organize production, and produce innovation.
The Bubble Is Bursting Right Now.
The education bubble is bursting. And with it, will go the bubble of diversity. That is what the data tells us. And it’s only logical that without artificially inflated wealth from the temporary technical advantage that the west had over the rest of the world, that a great levelling will continue to take place. And without the lubrication of wealth, those political and cultural frictions will become, as we see in politics today, overwhelming.
The west requires universal adoption of the nuclear family in order to retain the high trust civil society. Family structure is the source of all differences in moral codes. And the destruction of the nuclear family has been sufficient to destroy the high trust society.
NOPE
You can’t have it all. YOu can have redistribution without diversity. Or you can have diversity without redistribution. But you cannot have both at once.

SEA CHANGE
We have seen, since 1990, the slow accumulation of scientific evidence that undermines the progressive fantasy. Overturning environment, equality, diversity, and returning to particularism, tribalism, and breeding.
A few months ago The left’s intellectual leadership openly started discussing the impossibility of their project. A lament. They cannot overcome the majority moral objection to free riding.
Since 2000 we have seen the slow development of a reactionary language. And a reactionary philosophy that incrementally gains momentum.
Since 2010 we have seen the rapid accumulation of mainstream intellectual work, that while immaturely domain specific, follows the trend of overturning the progressive dogma originating in our universities as an alternative to the failure of socialism in economics and marxism in cultural morality, and therefore politics.
I was one of the early movers in libertarianism, correcting the failure of Rothbardian ethics to find purchase in the public conscience by implementing what we have learned in science over this period as the basis for propertarian ethics. But others seek various forms of justification by multiple yet unsuccessful means.
We are all participants in this transition. But it is difficult or impossible to know whether we are the greeks looking back at the end of their greatness or the english looking forward to their accidental empire.
Each academic revels in his own innovation. His horse-blinders help delude him. Obscuring the fact that we all sense the same change but have not yet come to consensus on it:
The end of the enlightenment project, the end of the marxist project, the end of the progressive project, the end of european dominance, and the end of democracy as a credible political model at scale.
The end of the dominance of our world view in world affairs. A world view that never was very useful. Our success was science, technology, accounting and credit. Not our political system. Our political system was a temporary luxury made possible by our technological advancement over other societies – most importantly the african, ottoman, and american indian. An advantage we have mitigated by our civil, world war.
Whether we achieve anything with this knowledge is open to question. History offers encouraging and discouraging examples.

Its not rocket science. Conservatives breed more and spend more on family. More time, more attention, more money, more land. THats why conservatives outbreed progressives. Selfishness is not a good evolutionary strategy. 🙂
