I’m just the opposite. Morning sex and I am ‘balanced’ all day long. lol

The study found that

—‘…it is cognitively demanding to sustain cooperation in a ten-round repeated prisoner’s dilemma. … In our experiment, as in the twin study of Segal and Hershberger (1999), pairs of players with higher cognitive ability are substantially better at cooperating. Further, we find that is the cognitive ability of a pair of players, and not the ability of an individual player, that predicts cooperation.’—

High IQ leads to higher rates of co-operation. Trust is both a consequence of and necessity for long term co-operation or multi-co-operations.

And this gets to the crux of why Nassim Nicholas Taleb’s discussion of IQ is so fundamentally flawed. It isn’t about the individual – it is about the group.

Contradiction in Stoicism: that we are to live in accord with nature, but the Stoic adopts an arbitrary standard of what is natural for the good man. Why for e.g. is seeking revenge not natural & therefore not good? Why is heightening our sense of power irrelevant? @curtdoolittle

Just as exhaustive forgiveness in tit-for-tat is the optimum cooperative strategy, exhaustive baiting for dominance play is the optimum MALE cooperative strategy. WTF do you think shit-talking amounts to? Are you fking thick? (See what I did there?) Set up King of the Hill games where ANY forward progress gets the men recognition. Do not criticize failure, only cowardice, attention seeking, or time wasting. If you are too predictable you will ruin the game. You must present a variety of challenges. We cannot feel ‘good’ about learning by conformity the way girls and women do. We must play at fighting or it’s not worth our time.
