I was trying to explain this to a female friend last year, that short of wearing a burka or something there is nothing they can do to avert the ‘male gaze.’ Even if she’s average (and I mean historically average, not “170 lbs is the current average for American women” average) she will always get attention from men. The app TikTok is a great example of this. There are videos of women literally just talking into the camera that have thousands and thousands of likes. Even something as simple as running her hand through her hair or shifting her weight a certain way does something for me. I can’t help it. Being a nominally attractive woman is the closest thing there is to mind control.

Unfortunately the academy specializes in teaching the practice of cunning rather than the practice of intelligence. Why?
