DIFFERENCES IN RATES OF COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT
Girls mature earlier than boys.
Boys mature earlier than autists.
Autists mature later than the rest.

Why? Female hemispheric integration, male hemispheric compartmentalization, autistic regional hyper compartmentalization in males on the spectrum.

Ergo just as domestication syndrome produced longer childhood, adaptation, and lifespan, cognitive domestication was extended because given differences in starting position, males, and autistic males take much longer to fully integrate a brain, BUT in doing so produce higher intelligence (if successful) or total failure (if not). This is why there are 4x more high IQ men on the spectrum than neurotypicals.

IMO, given what I have learned from my work in evolutionary computation, ‘being on the spectrum’ is the direction of the brain’s neotenic evolution. Just as neotenic evolution is the direction of ALL human evolution.

There are other consequences like the result of longer maturity in relational, social, and family roles which do require attachment and as such necessitate the preservation of feminine. Meaning … differences in the sexes should continue to diverge as they have over three million years or more.
