To the educated audience we can tell the difference between moralizing as if the ethics of the village scales, and the realism of grand strategy, and how to achieve grand moral ends. So, the petty childish moral arguments are fit for the Christians and the uneducated.
c) We are not equals. We are not peers. We have demonstrated vast differences in competency and achievement in life. And to those of achievement and ability, we demonstrate honor to those who we respect, and we dismiss challenges to our honor by those unfit for the purpose. “The lion does not trouble himself with the opinions of sheep”.
