About 1% of the population is a pedophile proper, and about 5% attracted to sexually mature but still young females. And no, there is no common occupational trait of child molesters. Most criminals are democrats. Among the clergy, only the fundamentalists are biased republican. Catholics are abut 50/50. The only common outstanding factor we can identify among child molesters that are not family is that they are hard to catch, and so easier to catch in poorer rural areas where behavioral patterns are more obvious. Otherwise personalities are somewhat similar with weak dominance expression and comorbid psychological problems. They are however uncurable – at least as far as I can tell.
