In what sense? I would in anything over which they would care to make a decision (usually high culture).

I have married there, lived there, and in Canada, Ukraine, Russia, and owned, run, or done business in something close to thirty countries. And as far as I know I’m one of the best living students of group differences in evolutionary strategy, demographics, institutions, and particularly law,and the consequences for different peoples.

If you live as a descendent of the English and their colonies, you are, by every single empirical measure, better off than if you weren’t – period. End of story.

There is a difference between genocide, conquest, rule, domestication, and charity. The entire colonial project was unprofitable, but no one knew that at the time. But it was highly profitable over time for those colonies. And the american transformation of the British empire into the rules-based order has done more for raising mankind out of poverty than all previous efforts in history combined.

The perfect is the enemy of the good. But the perfect requires knowledge that is only produced by the trial and error of attempting to do the good.

Grow up. Envy is pathetic.
