@Plinz Hmm… it is very difficult to frame concepts and express them as accurately and parsimoniously as you do. Whether it is a surplus’s of intelligence or conscientiousness the result is extraordinary.

I sometimes think you overuse the computational frame when you could better use the neurological, or operational, but given your facility with each I assume it’s a matter of taste.

You frequently drop profound insights such as the consequence of Babbage’s failure to publish a general theory, and move on with casual dismissal.

I don’t envy many other minds but I’m always impressed by yours.

Such a brilliant man, with linguistic gifts, questions should be better than this: where has he been, what has he been doing, what insights into the present or future is he pondering, etc, what are the prospects for man. 😉

Only a good person would ask that question – proving to the rest of us we are not alone. 🙂
