As a public intellectual, and one who so charitably engages with a public often undeserving of it, you’re about as close to demonstrating Secular Sainthood as we’ve gotten in my generation. Frankly, I don’t know (I’d like to know) how you mantain your love of mankind, your benevolent stoicism, endless pantience, and perpetual optimism. 😉 lol
