    On tragedy and heroism,

    To act is to encounter resistance. To encounter resistance is to suffer.

    To overpower resistance individually is heroism. To overpower resistance collectively is progress. Collective progression requires heroic leaders, hence the glory of heroism.

    To succumb to resistance individually is inevitable, however to struggle against resistance individually is to aide the collective struggle to progress. Collective progression requires individual struggle, hence the beauty of tragedy.

    Yes, but Ill toss in the observation that it depends on the categories.

    Most iq improvement appears to have been the result of fixing the bottom and exposing people to general rules (categories) rather than particular rules.

    The conundrum of German Philosophy is that it uses the right message (truth and duty), uses the right method (moral literature), but engages in conflation (pseudo-rationalism).

    It’s exasperating.

    The anglos used the wrong message (equality), the right method (moral literature) and continued aristotelian deflation (science).

    But it does no good to say the wrong thing rightly, any more than it does good to say the right thing wrongly.

    Then we get to the jews and the french who say the wrong thing wrongly.

    It’s amazing that the enlightenment survived even in its current form.

    3) The works of Frauds (pseudoscience – Jewish) (Frauds) (freud, marx, boaz, frankfurt school)

    4) The works of Literature (analogy – the works of the anglo historians and russian literature) (analogies)

    5) The works of History, Law, Science ( description – the works of anglos and aristotelians.) (truth)

    There exists only one form debate: perfect reciprocity. All the rest is negotiation until we reach a point of perfect reciprocity. If you are not engaging in perfect reciprocity, then you are engaging in negotiation. In mere negotiation we are outside of reciprocity, and therefore violence, fraud, cooperation, avoidance, and boycott are all on the table.

    Math predates writing.

    First record of written basic math is from egypt.

    First treatise is from greece

    First Geometry from greece.

    First Algebra from greece by Diophantus although it is possible that like newton and leibniz both he and al-Khwarizmi discovered it.

    POsitional numbering in babylon. Decimal notation by Archimedes. zero-placeholder by hindus

    Much came out of the fertile crescent from anatolia to egypt to iran. It was the origin of barley, and it looks like bronze by combining tin from afghanistan with regional copper. And the persian mastery of mountain spring water for drinking, cooking, andirrigation was perhaps the most impressive architecture in the world.

    however, if you do some reading, instead of depending upon bits and drabs of nonsense, you’ll find out that the west disproporionately discovered and innovated faster than all other civilizations combined, despite being on the remote edge of the bronze age.
