If you haven’t seen the freight train full of shorts Lynch is producing as donation to the public good, then you’re missing out on the maturation of a young historian to a public intellectual we rarely see from the few men of equal ability twice his age.
There is a vast difference between wisdom and insight, and decidability and truth. I’m happy to do the latter, but the audience for law is small. And I’m thrilled that Rudyard is doing the former, where the audience is boundless, and with the sincerity, compassion, and insight that I haven’t seen in decades.
