@brantdanger I agreed with you until the last sentence. That sentence means you want symbolism to amelioriate feelings of victimization desipite that it leads to your failure – instead of bearing the emotional and psychological costs of political warfare until we obtain victory. If you want your cheap thrills you will lose because it is those cheap emotional thrills that the left baits you into violence that gives the state permission to oppress you.

The left can ‘enjoy’ its conflict because its expression of conflict justifies the state that oppresses you and me and the rest of the right. Democratic movements have allowed the conversion of the state from the suppression, disciplining and indoctrination, of the people who are bad in the interests of the people who are good so that discipline, duty, and productivity and absence of threat or conflict, and the commons that result from that mixture.

Parasites make hosts act in ways that are bad for the host. We are the host,. they are the. parasites. do not let theh parasites make you act in ways that are bad for you. Do your duty. Use your Discipline. Bear the emotional cost of their baiting you into hazard. bear the cost of showing up in large numbers. bear the cost of staying in the field for a few months, and reap an immediate, extraordinary, windfall of restorationn of self determination, by our norms, traditions, institutions.

Learn that I was right. That you are wrong. And that the only path to victory is not taking the bait. When you read Alinsky’s instructions to the left you will learn that all they are doing is baiting you into defeat and they are far better at it.

Why? They do not need to feel in control. They are happy to follow the herd. You must feel that you understand, and are in control, or you won’t show up., and when you do show up you allow them to bait your ego into failure.
