Um. My understanding of the origin of the Shotgun House (very common, if not most common, in the postwar south ) is the design of Railroad Cars. Shotgun houses are very cheap to build, and effectively duplicate the ancient longhouse experience.

  • Curt: What About Caste Cultures?

October 17th, 2018 12:39 PM CURT: WHAT ABOUT CASTE CULTURES?

—“Genuine question: wasn’t that the upside to caste in traditional cultures?”— Jim Yankowsky

[S]ocial orders with Casts prevent people from feeling left behind or of lower status (left out or discarded by the herd) As long as (as in the hindu model, or the western model, or the chinese model) rotation is possible by achievement, absolutely nothing. The west had wild animal (barbarian), slave, serf, freeman, citizen, nobility, aristocracy under agrarianism. At present we have about the same hierarchy but military, commercial, and intellectual are in competition for the body politic (labor and women). SO the hierarchy goes in three directions, rather than one. And the three directions compete (gossip/talk, commerce/trade, law/force). At present the court mediates the market between the directions. The difference with castes is that you are justifying someone’s status by the beneficial function that they serve in society ,a nd preserving defense against outbreeding (downbreeding), and all sorts of ‘democracy’ and its religious equivalents. There is nothing bad about hindu religion at all other than the fact that they are weak, and lack sufficient middle class to produce courts free of familial corruption. I don’t like the silly mystical stuff. But that aside it’s a good system. Islam is the worst of all possible worlds. Equalitarian ignorance with mandated hostile aggression to perform consumption on the capital of other civilizations.

October 17th, 2018 11:56 AM I MEAN, LARPING IS LARPING IS LARPING… [W]hat’s the difference between the people who dress up as fictional characters, or visit medieval festivals, or haunt dance clubs, and people who imitate jesus instead of Achilles, Alexander, Aristotle, or Odin? There isn’t any. I mean, tolkien created, quite purposefully, what was very close to a religious system using our old gods, rather than the semitic gods. He knew exactly what he was doing. I can get plenty of wisdom from “What would Gandalf do?” or ‘What would Bilbo Do?’. I just get more wisdom out of what would Achilles (Excellence, heroism, sacrifice, tragedy), Zeno (philosophy), Aristotle(science), Aurelius (politics), or Alexander (War) do? The problem is, those are all ARISTOCRATS, or middle classes, and what should those that lack agency and ability do? They were slaves in the ancient world. We freed them, because freemen are cheaper to rule, and return a higher profit than slaves and serfs, and they want a narrative for those who are less able. Failing to produce it, they chose marxism (labor), postmodernism (academy/intellectuals/state), and Feminism ( women). What can we give those people that they can face their status class and social, reproductive, economic, and political lack of market value? Lies and false promises, or truth, goods, and services?

  • To Elders of The Black Sun 3 – Aristocracy and Law

October 17th, 2018 9:54 AM TO ELDERS OF THE BLACK SUN 3 – ARISTOCRACY AND LAW 1) All religions are substitutes for the Initiatic Brotherhood of Warriors. There is no bond as strong – even kin. 2) The right is organized like christian denominations, as a class hierarchy with most literal at the bottom and most allegorical at the top. 3) Aristocratic orders (law) are always and everywhere imposed by Force (violence), and consist of 3.1) Law stated as myth 3.2) Law stated as process 3.3) Law stated as Law. 4) Religion is the cheapest means of TEACHING the Law by indoctrination (repetition). This is why ARISTOCRACY conquerors with violence, and adopts Religions and Priesthood to Rule (morally) and retains Law to Rule (commercially), and retains Violence to Rule (militarily). 5) All religious content contains (a) group evolutionary strategy (method of cultural warfare), (b) normative law, and (c) constitutional law (limitations on the people and the ruler). 6) The western Myth during our ascent was Homer (The Tragedy of Achilles) (Heroic Aristocracy). The semites adopted this and reversed it as the Tragedy of Jesus (victim as hero). Our ascent in the late medieval world was due to the restoration of Aristotle (Power over nature) and restoration of commerce (HRE/Hansa Trade), and rapid expansion (colonialism by sail). The Semites retaliated with The Tragedy of Labor (victim as hero), followed by the revolt against Darwin (The Anti-Nazi Cult – victim as hero). What narrative will compete with them?

  • To Elders of The Black Sun 3 : On Stasis

October 17th, 2018 9:31 AM TO ELDERS OF THE BLACK SUN 3 : ON STASIS 1 – consciousness (awareness) declines as population increases. 2 – ancient orders (as proposed) preserved agrarian stasis, and as such members were enforcers not problem solvers (innovators, competitors). 3 – we no longer live in an era where we can seek stasis and survive (compete against competitors), but in an era where he who adapts fastest wins. It is normal for the human mind to seek an order he comprehends at the expense of the continuous fragility of that order to conquest (christianity, islam, hinduism). The great (powerful) civilizations (China, Carthage, Rome, HRE, British Empire, American Empire imposed legal order (negative) and ritual (continuous reminders of the importance of the order), The weak civilizations collapsed (Arab > Turkic > Now Iranic?, Hindu) only appear powerful because they sat (prior to sail) in the territorial axis of the continents, and could tax the world center of trade because of it. We don’t live in an agrarian (stasis) world any longer. We can, if you want to return to a world population of under 1b, but the people who outnumber us (we are in total less than 700M, and those of us who are conservative a fraction of that) will resist any such thing.
