We can measure the quality of art. “Your taste is a measure of you, not art.” So like vocabulary, or manners, or style, or other opinion, we retain some constant values, but learn to improve our taste: a skill. That this is the optimum ingroup evolutionary strategy is simply a matter of logic and evidence.

(FB 1543529647 Timestamp) HOW DID THEY DO IT AND WHY CAN’T WE? Having divorced themselves from the burden of carrying territory, the classes necessary to defend it, police it, govern it, and the classes necessary to engage in production to pay for it, they were free to specialize in predation upon the host – primarily through various forms of usury, rent seeking, and conspiracy with the state against the people, and just as we redistributed lower class reproduction to the upper classes, they invested ALL of their reproduction in the parasitic classes. That’s the net of it right there. We can’t do that because we need to hold territory, fight for it, and pay for fighting for it, while continuously improving our condition. Ergo we produce commons and they parasitically consume and destroy commons. I mean. That’s the economics of it right there.

(FB 1543516384 Timestamp) —“Aren’t the Meds the founders of western civ?”—Dominic Leyva Well, it’s the Yamna east, and corded ware west that founded western civilization’s uniqueness. It’s the greeks and romans that produced it’s scale. Whether the greeks were european is still in dispute. Itals (romans) are danubian (germanic). we still don’t know if the greek aristocracy was european, old european, or anatolian. (north south, or east west). There aren’t enough bodies for DNA yet, and the bodies we do have are all from outside the aristocratic classes. We need a few tombs or burians with DNA. The greeks, like the hittites appear to be european in social organization, language, and religions. Whether they were blue eyed and fair hair or brown eyed and black haired is only discernible from the literature, not from DNA yet. I suspect that the hellenes were europeans that invaded causing the bronze age collapse, or invaded to take advantage of the bronze age collapse.
