The secret to western civilization, besides being a small, relatively poor population on the edge of the bronze age, is that by the choice of voluntary militia, military tactics of maneuver requiring contractualism, and heroic sovereignty (ownership of gains), we necessitated natural law, and markets in everything. And as a consequence the west was not first, but in every era we were fastest. In other words, truth, promise(contract), natural law, and jury allow us to adapt faster than every other known method of human cooperation.

The indo european expansion, the greek and roman eras, the continental era, the age of sail, and the industrial era, all continued and expanded on this strategy.

In the western tradition we are all members of a vast army fulfilling our duties. We all are due respect no matter our rank, as long as we do our duty. We are all due disrespect or even punishment if we do not do our duties. This is how we produced harmony – more harmony than any other civilization in history – while at the same time producing the most adaptive and rapidly evolutionary body of people in human history. We took control of evolution.

HARMONY OF MILITARISM

Mindfulness (Harmony): Professional military aristocracy, a Militia of every able bodied man, creates full time military: All men in military earn respect and are given respect for doing their duty; all duty is necessary and valuable for the success of the group in a high risk venture; rank is by demonstrated ability and merit (although often of families), leadership (captains, generals, kings) are chosen by the men who choose who to follow. In other words, every man gets a share of honor, and buys the franchise. This is the source of western harmony, and it is the strongest source of harmony available to man. (And is different from all other peoples).

THEY ARE UNFIT FOR SERVICE – AND THE CONSTITUTION

Western Civilization has been since its foundation, A militia. An army. A militarized society. We gain harmony from doing our duty, and sovereignty for having done it. Sovereignty is harder that liberty by permission, and freedom by promise.

And all those who have come to us postwar to undermine that civilization are unfit for service. That is why they resist our constitution our natural law our markets, our responsibility – because they are not capable of sovereignty.
