In Seattle it’s an historical thing due to 1) scandinavians who are more naturally communal (see north central), and because “the 60’s bums when to califoria, the hippies to portland, and the yuppies to seattle.” Then Seattle and SF had immigrated large numbers of indian/asian.

Two different reasons. Columbia/Harvard/Yale et all in the NE were where the jewish revolt against the west started, and where we have the highest jewish population and the most complete imitation of the soviets.

OUCH:You can reduce the difference in group evolutionary strategies between civilizations to their use of the underclasses: exploitation(middle east), limiting their damage(India), reducing their number(China),or sifting them via merit, limiting reproduction of the rest (Europe).
