#Ukraine saw the same ‘white flight’ (meaning flight of their professional class) as did #Russia. So the vast majority of Ukrainians are only one generation off the farm. They are not yet ‘weak’ like pampered and unfit westerners. IMO they are the best people left in europe.

What we call turks in anatolia are a hybrid people that emerged in the 11th century.

I am a good student of mongolian history, and especially the language. As far as I know, GK was a mongol, but he recruited almost entirely from turkic groups. The turks were ‘evicted’ from north china, migrated through mongolia, and into the steppe where they mastered horses.
