It’s not obvious but every aspect of aesthetics, fashion, and of course, relationships reflect general conditions. And the shift that started both economic and culturally in 2009 is peaking (unfortunately with every other cycle). (economics of marriage, etc Becker)

Interestingly, Africa and the middle east make more sense, than say India and China, and India makes less sense than China. It’s just ‘odd’ what works and what doesn’t, and how people behave, given the evolution of our institutions from a simple initial premise (class relations).

India is a continent, a race, a civilization, a country, a federation and oddly enough, the largest ‘reasonably’ functioning democracy when the maximum scale of democratic possibility is theoretically in the sub 100 million. Except for the ‘dirty’ thing, it’s a wonderful culture.
