Four speciation events:
African (East Africa), South Eurasian (dry Persian Gulf), East Asian (Tibet?), European. In ~that order.
Then ANE Hybridization into Americas, and back into Europe. Then the major hybridization events: Agrarian expansion, the Steppe Invasion of Europe, and the age of sail (present).
Prior to the agrarian expansion, the races were as different as europeans are from asians.
So neotenic evolution follows that path, but for some reason east asians more so than the rest.
Pretty fascinating really.
