A CHANGE IN MANUFACTURING?
If we repatriate industrial production we might need to reorganize how production is managed, because the legacy manufacturing in the country is NOT operating by say, japanese standards of behavior and process, and still by early 20th standards. It’s not a good ‘culture’ so to speak.
I’ve only become aware of this over the past few months when someone approached me with an methodology for manufacturing that has been emerging in the military and air space, but is also visible in Musk’s approach.
This reformation will increase the tolerance for white collar and service people to move into manufacturing as the repatriation proceeds.

Given we’ve been talking about it, and the need is clearly present and expanding, as well as distrust of other financial institutions and the government I think building a customer base isn’t that difficult. (We’d also enjoy doing it.) It would certainly help market the institute and our solutions as well. But the question is simply whether we have the bandwidth. It’s a stretch but I think interest is high enough that we can get it done. (Mostly me for the legal nonsense, and brandon for everything else).
So yes, I think we’ll pursue it .

I think we can collect a large number of customers. I’m not yet sure how profitable it would be if aside from cancellation protection, our goal is to keep costs down for the little guy so to speak.

Thinking more about banking…. I’ll work with the team and see if we want to take this seriously yet. Because it would need to spread by word of mouth, and the goals and procedures fully transparent because conservatives are a paranoid bunch and our organization has to avoid whacky controversy. This is my only concern. Not the cancel-crowd, but the nutcase fringe on the right.
We have the knowledge. But do we have the people to administer it until sufficient capital is accumulated to launch the bank. And the bank would run almost entirely on credit, debit card, BTC and check processing, and only operate online.
We have looked at acquiring a bank to simplify all the paperwork (there are many available now, and there will be a lot more in the near future) but I see that as a phase II. I’m relatively sure we only want a virtual presence to start because we want to eliminate unnecessary overhead costs.
