The first octagonal barrel HK pistol, from which all others were derived. Includes the spring around rather than below the barrel, providing lower barrel axis. HK P9 in single, P9S in double action, and yes they made on in select fire (full auto). I don’t like double action pistols unless I can carry them cocked and locked. But this is a small comfortable perfect pistol. In my opinion it was, and remains the upgrade to the Walther PPK. However, later models have a ridiculous trigger guard and long pull double action trigger. Have you noticed I don’t like modern hollywood guns? lol -

This gun does not have fixed sights on the hand-side, which would eliminate the fore and aft heavy sights.
I don’t like picatinny rails. They encourage hollywood gun behavior.

In other words, the principle value of these weapons is making you difficult to grapple. I’m kind of a fan of the inverted grip and the spiked handguard. This allows you to use the sword to protect your reloading forearm.
